Starting a new course of study is not only a major adjustment in the life of a (prospective) student, but also in the lives of parents or caregivers. A new educational institute, new people, a new city, and perhaps even a new country — in other words, a new phase in life.
Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) believes it is important to support students through these changes and help them settle in. The IntroABEL introduction week plays a crucial role in this process by properly preparing students for the start of their studies. It is our priority to introduce students to their new classmates, the university, and the city of Breda in a safe, accessible, and fun way.
To achieve this, a team of BUas staff and students have been preparing the introduction week for months. The introduction week is certainly not a hazing event in which students are forced to do things against their will.
